Q inside

There are 162 pages, almost 100 more than Kerrang.
37 of them are adverts, which is almost 23%.

Ther are many different types of advert in Q since there is such a wide range of people who read it. There seems to be a lot of technology advertised, in various forms, such as mobile phones, games, CDs, and even Iphone apps. There is less music clothing advertised in Q unlike Kerrang, both both magazines advertise upcoming gigs very well, with pages dedicated to advertising gigs in both magazines.

Q is mainly split up into two sections, features and regulars. the features are sections that arent in the magazine every month, such as the big interviews and cover stories. the regulars speaks for itself, they are regular, and appear every month.
Q has a section for advertorials, called Q promotion. They make an article for a product, in this case, russian vodka.

The magazine achives a house style by having the same font, colours and style the whole way through. On most pages is a Q logo, at the bottom, or as the title of the article, but for those with no logo, the plain san serif font is used, and colour scheme of white and red.
This style doesnt particuarly attract a certain type of person, it just doesnt put people off reading it, it is normal. it is a plain style, meaning that no one has a reason disgree with it really. young and old can read it, with no problems, unlike Kerrang which may put some people off due to its appearence.
