Kerrang cover

The content that is promoted by the coverline is an interview with Paramore and ‘their private photo album revealed’ after a year on tour.
The fonts on the front cover are all bold and in capitals. The main title has a worn out effect and a cracked effect font, and the main headline saying ‘Paramore’ has just the worn out effect. The rest of the fonts are normal and bold. Apart from in the pictures, only 4 colours are used over the whole cover, black, white, red and yellow.

The cover uses simple words and sentences for various parts of the cover. For the main story ‘Paramore’, it simply says “Exclusive! Inside their most successful year ever!” its very simple, with no complicated language or anything, and it seems to suggest behind the scenes story about their tour.
Kerrang seems to be a unique magazine cover style as there are no other music magazines that look like it much at all. Other magazines such as Q and NME are much more plain, less packed. There are magazines such as Metal Hammer, which has a similar looking font, but the cover has a lot less on. Kerrang seems to be the only music magazine that has the cover packed with pictures and stories.
