Q general

Q is published by Bauer Consumer Media.
Unlike Kerrang magazine, Q doesnt appear to be music genre specific. there are varying genres in there that appeal to a much wider range of people. the age range seems to be higher than Kerrang as well, as it seems more formal and plain rather and loud and in your face. the age range is possibly 18-50.
It costs £3.99 which is more than Kerrang, but it produced monthly rather than weekly, meaning that over a month, it is cheaper than 4 issues of Kerrang.
The circulation is reported to be around 89,000.

The title Q is in the top left corner, in a big red square. it is a plain san serif font, which can show how it is more formal and its style. next to the Q is the main cover headline which is also in a san serif font. The main part of the cover however is the main picture. it is the only picture and takes up the whole of the central cover space with the headlines and stories going around the sides and underneath of it. there is also a gold circle that is supposed to resemble an award sticker to try and show quality
