Kerrang cover

It is called Kerrang as it refers to the sound of an electric guitar playing a power chord. This also links into the music genre that it covers, rock/metal.
The masthead for Kerrang is the word Kerrang in a font that appears to be worn away, wih some holes in. the font also has cracks in it, as if it has shattered, also linking in with the guitar powerchord, the loudness of it has shattered the word.
There are two straplines, one going along the top edge and the other at the bottom edge, both advertising more minor stories inside the magazine. the bottom one has a list of bands/artists that are in the issue but doesnt specify why.


The main image is a medium-close up shot of Hayley Williams, the lead singer of Paramore. Her head is tilted sideways and is looking and winknig straight at the camera.
The only other images that are on the front cover are 4 different pictures of the free posters inside, and a couple of small photos to go with the Paramore story.
